Privacy Policy for Allergen Introduction Tracker
Last updated: September 14, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Thomas Williams ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our Android application, Allergen Introduction Tracker (the "App"), available on the Google Play Store.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a clear understanding of how your data is managed. Your trust is important to us.
1. Our Privacy Promise
The core function of the App is to help parents and guardians track allergen introductions for their baby. The sensitive information you enter is designed to remain private to you.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the personal information you enter about your child. All data, including your baby's name, date of birth, and allergen introduction logs, is stored exclusively on your local device and is never sent to our servers.
2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services (Google AdMob)
To support the App and provide it to you for free, we use third-party advertising services provided by Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect and process data to serve relevant ads. This data may include, but is not limited to:
- Device information such as your device model, operating system, and screen size.
- Device identifiers, such as your IP address and Google Advertising ID.
- Information about the ads being served, viewed, or clicked on.
We do not share any of the personal data you enter into the App (e.g., your baby's name or allergen data) with our advertising partners.
For more information on how Google collects and uses your data for advertising, please review their policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
3. Your Control Over Your Data
Local Data Storage & Deletion
All the allergen tracking data you create is stored on your device. You have full control over this data and can permanently delete all of it at any time from within the App by navigating to Settings → Delete All Data.
Data Sharing
The App may offer a feature to export or share a report of the data you have entered. This action is entirely voluntary. When you choose to share this information, you are responsible for where it is sent and with whom it is shared.
Advertising Preferences
You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier through your Android device's system settings. This is typically found under Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads.
4. Children's Privacy
This App is intended for use by adults (parents and guardians) to track information about their children. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, such as adding analytics or new advertising partners, we will update this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
