Development Journey
Defenders of Hexalis evolved from early ideas in 2019, when it started as an ambitious RTS project. Now transformed into a strategic tower defense game, it draws inspiration from classics like Halo Wars and StarCraft, blending tactical fortification and resource management with modern 3D hexagonal gameplay.
Working full-time, I dedicate my free hours to game development. By dividing work into weekly sprints with clear, focused objectives (such as designing a new turret or building out AI behaviors), progress remains steady and aligned with the goal of a fully playable game.
